Poker Top Tables - Are They the Answer to Your Poker Nights?

Poker Tables are simply the most wanted item for any avid poker players. Poker players love to host their own games at their houses with friends and family, and the more realistic they are, the better. Many poker fans have turned to poker table tops. These table tops have poker layouts, chip racks, and even sometimes cup holders for your drinks! But are they high enough quality to withstand game after game of poker? Let's look at some of the advantages and disadvantages of poker table tops.
1. They have the layout printed on them. However, some layouts are better than others in regards to the quality of the printing. Some of the printing is almost like it was painted on, whereas other layouts seem like the fabric was dyed that color. The painted layouts will wear out easily and quickly, so make sure to get the higher quality printing on your poker table top.
2. Quality of the chip racks. Some of the chip racks are gimmicks in these poker top tables, and you shouldn't waste your money on them. There are some out there with high quality wood chip racks, but most of them use thin plastic that will eventually crack. Chip racks aren't necessary anyways, because most poker players like to stack their chips in front of them for ease of play.
3. Some table tops aren't big enough, or are too big. How big is the one you want? Will it fit your table? Is your table itself too big? A lot of poker players who buy these poker top tables don't even think about measuring the size of the tables that they will be using the layout on. This is a huge mistake, and can cost you a lot of money! So be sure to check the size of the poker table top and compare it wit the size of the table it will be used on.
As you can see, there are some disadvantages of poker table tops in regards to quality, but you can weed out the bad ones if you put some effort into it. You will save money in the long run, and you will be using your new poker table top for years to come with your poker buddies. Good luck at the tables!
